BSL 2026 Summer Fire Drill

2026-05-22
Safety is an unbreakable bottom line for industrial production and the lifeline of an enterprise’s high-quality development.

On May 21, BSL (Baoshili) organized all employees to conduct the 2026 Summer Fire Drill. Combining simulated fire scenarios, emergency evacuation, hands-on fire fighting and safety training, this drill systematically inspected the reliability of the company’s fire-fighting facilities, strengthened employees’ emergency response capabilities, and comprehensively improved the overall fire safety competency of all staff.

1. Live Simulation: Orderly Evacuation of All Staff

The drill simulated a sudden fire on an upper floor of the factory building. Upon detecting the alarm, on-duty staff immediately verified the fire situation and activated the fire emergency response plan. They reported the incident to the Security Department, notified all emergency teams to stand by, and instructed the Water and Power Support Team to cut off power in the affected area and force all elevators to the ground floor.

Guided by evacuation guides on each floor, employees covered their mouths and noses, bent low and evacuated quickly along the predetermined routes. All personnel safely arrived at the designated assembly point within the required time.

2. Learning Through Practice: Enhancing Fire Response Capabilities

A hands-on fire extinguisher operation session was also held on site. Professional safety instructors first demonstrated the standard four-step operation of fire extinguishers: lift, pull, grip and squeeze, and elaborated on proper stances, spraying techniques and key safety precautions.

Employees from each department then took turns to put out simulated oil pan fires with dry powder fire extinguishers. Through practical operation, staff translated theoretical knowledge into practical skills and fully mastered basic fire fighting skills.

3. Safety Popularization: Strengthening Fire Safety Awareness

During the training session, instructors cited typical real-fire cases. Focusing on daily production and office scenarios, they explained common fire causes, core prevention measures, fire alarm and reporting procedures, fire escape skills and self-inspection standards for fire-fighting facilities. The training helped employees correct misconceptions about fire safety and further reinforced the safety principle of "Safety First, Prevention Foremost".

"Improve emergency response capabilities and fortify the line of defense for work safety." The company will always keep work safety high on the agenda, strictly implement all safety management measures, and regularly organize fire emergency drills as well as inspection and rectification of potential safety hazards across the factory. We will strive to build a solid safety barrier to protect employees’ personal safety and support stable, high-quality production.
